Gemini by Google
Formerly known as Bard, Gemini is Google’s response to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
Like ChatGPT, Gemini works like an AI-powered chatbot that simulates human conversations with natural language processing and machine learning by getting responses from the Internet. It also works as a personal assistant, helping users with tasks such as booking vacations, finding existing reservations, and helping with meal planning.
Unlike ChatGPT, Gemini is a multimodal AI that combines different types of data inputs to deliver comprehensive results. In that sense, Gemini can understand and analyze text, images, audio, and video simultaneously — mimicking the human brain’s ability to process multiple sensory inputs. Also, it comes with an array of plugins such as Walmart, Spotify, Uber Eats, Adobe Firefly, and a host of other Google Apps — to allow users to go beyond getting responses to their questions.
Plus, it too can help developers with their coding requests and anyone else come up with a compelling message in Gmail — and other Google apps, for that matter.
