Indian startup Rocket launches AI platform that delivers McKinsey style product strategies at a fraction of the cost

Rocket the Indian AI startup wants to solve a common pain point. Everyone can generate code with today’s tools but deciding what to build still trips up founders and teams. The company based in Surat launched Rocket 1.0 on Tuesday to fill that gap with consulting style product strategies. 🤖

The new platform and what it does

Rocket 1.0 connects research product building and competitive intelligence in a single workflow. Users type a simple prompt and the system produces PDF documents that look like reports from top firms. These include details on pricing unit economics and go to market recommendations. MEXC News outlined how the platform delivers strategy reports for far less than traditional fees.

The tool pulls information from more than 1000 data sources such as Meta‘s ad libraries Similarweb API and its own crawlers. It can also monitor competitor websites and track traffic trends. Co founder and CEO Vishal Virani explained that coding has become a commodity while the real challenge lies in business decisions. TechCrunch previously covered Rocket’s pivot from its earlier DhiWise roots.

Pricing growth and market fit

Subscription options start at 25 dollars per month for basic app building. The 250 dollars plan adds strategy and research features that deliver two or three reports per month. The top 350 dollars tier includes full competitive intelligence. Virani told reporters this setup offers a cheaper alternative to classic consulting engagements that run into the thousands. Digital Today reported on the launch and pricing structure.

Since its 15 million dollar seed round in September from Accel Salesforce Ventures and Together Fund the company has grown from 400000 to over 1.5 million users across 180 countries. It reports an annualized average revenue per user near 4000 dollars and gross margins above 50 percent. About 20 to 30 percent of customers come from small and medium businesses. The team now stands at 57 people with headquarters in Surat and operations in Palo Alto. Rocket shared details of its seed funding and vision on its own blog.

The launch highlights a shift where AI moves upstream from code generation to strategy support. It remains to be seen how much validation users still need on the synthesized insights.
